We brought Ahikāroa Māori Healing to Queensland, creating a nurturing space for Mirimiri, Romiromi, Matakite and Rongoā Māori. A beautiful weekend of healing, connection and whakawhanaungatanga.

For several years, Ahikāroa has created a dedicated Māori healing space at Seven Sisters Festival. Through Mirimiri, Romiromi, Matakite and Rongoā, we have supported hundreds of wāhine throughout the festival.

A powerful weekend celebrating wāhine, wellbeing and connection. Ahikāroa held space through our traditional Māori healing practices, supporting women to rest, reconnect and fill their cups.

In collaboration with Blak Dot Gallery, Ahikāroa created a space for Māori healing, culture and connection as part of the Brunswick Music Festival, sharing our mahi within a vibrant community celebration

Ahikāroa brought traditional Māori healing into the heart of Golden Plains Festival, offering festivalgoers a place to pause, receive care and reconnect amid the energy of the weekend.

Ahikāroa Māori Healing has proudly shared Mirimiri, Romiromi, Matakite and Rongoā Māori at one of Australia’s largest wellbeing festivals, creating a space where traditional Māori healing could be experienced and honoured.

We were honoured to be part of Share the Spirit, creating a culturally grounded healing space on 26 January. Our practitioners offered care, connection and traditional Māori healing practices within this important gathering.

Across eleven days at the Royal Melbourne Show, Ahikāroa introduced people from many different communities to Mirimiri, Romiromi, Matakite and Rongoā Māori in a welcoming and accessible space.

We welcomed the new year at Tanglewood Festival by holding a grounded space for healing, reflection and reconnection through Mirimiri, Romiromi, Matakite and Rongoā Māori.
