About the event

Te Wā o Hine – A Wānanga of the Feminine Essence

It is time to return to the essence of Hine ,the sacred feminine energy that flows through every stage of life. This 6-hour wānanga invites wāhine to reconnect with the ancient stories, wisdom, and healing practices of our atua wāhine and our own wharetangata.

Through kōrero, reflection, and hands-on practice, we will explore:

The origins of the devine feminine energy from Whaea Rikoriko, through to Papatuānuku. Sharing the pūrakau of Hineahuone who was fashioned from the sacred earth at Kurawaka.. the birthing of Hinetītama who then transitioned into Hine-nui-te-po

Te reo o te wāhine - honouring the power of karanga and activating our own expression.

Wharetangata - the sacred house of humanity, hapūtanga, and the cycles of creation.
